Today you will be judged, and since the world is ending tonight it’s pretty much our civic duty as proud residents from the city of soon to be fallen angels that we go out in style.  You may have been scouring the internet for some seriously tempting judgement day activities while you should be diligently slaving at a 9-5 that doesn’t even pay you enough to afford wireless at the privacy of your own home.  Lucky for us, local L.A. favorite Saint Motel will be throwing a soiree to end all soirees (literally) at the Roxy tonight, Saturday, May 21!

So first off, go ahead and thank them for putting together a wonderfully sin-sational party.  Second, go ahead and find something else to do while you’re enjoying a little mid-day slack off sesh.  Third, get there early and check out another L.A. fave of mine, Vanaprasta, who’s new joints are definitely more than a little buzz worthy.

Now, if you’ve been to Zombie Prom- or really any previous Saint Motel show you know damn well what you’re in for.  You’re in for a night of themed fabulosity and drink specials for the damned who already know where they’ll be sent at midnight.  Aside from the expected insanity a Saint Motel show has to offer, there are various accoutrements available for your accessorizing pleasure- make sure to pick up a rapture kit to make going under easy.

All this, and then you get a dose of Saint Motel’s audio-awesomeness too.  Their new single “puzzle pieces” has been climbing charts and can be found all over the internet- I myself am guilty of having it on a mix or two, or three all of which are being held hostage in my car.  That combined with their tried and true tunes and we’re in for one hell of a great night.  The only question left is which cover song are they going to surprise us with this time!?  Only time will tell, and the clock is ticking- for about another 12 hours.  Get your tickets before your time’s up and let’s celebrate the end of the world as we know it!
