CORRECTION: The interview I had posted before this was with a band called THE Sunshine Factory, not Sunshine Factory–totally different. They will get their time in the BNBTV Spotlight. My bad, readers! But, until then, enjoy this rad band.
In this video, we get a little taste of sunshine from the fusion of sounds this band, Sunshine Factory, puts forth: Slow, smooth portions that immediately remind me of Air’s score for the movie The Virgin Suicides; and parts of double-timed simplicity that showcase Morrissey-esque (and at times, Thom Yorke-esque) vocals. Beneath these two dynamics lies that psychedelic touch of floating guitars and eerily beautiful mews, and the result is a strange and lovely thing from this LA based band.
