After this nice start, the next act I saw was Ben Howard. I had caught wind of the British singer’s talent when I was investigating the bands I was unfamiliar with on the Bonnaroo lineup. Not only did he pique my interest, he made it all the way to my top-5 bands to check out at this year’s event, which he proved he rightfully deserved. The crowd was eagerly waiting for him to take the stage as I listened to the crowds chattering about which songs they hoped he play. Having never truly experienced Little Dragon prior to this set, I was so happy to be able to add them to the of bands I saw. Scurrying along, I was able to catch Fitz and the Tantrums’ set. Seeing them live finally showed me first hand what all the hype is about. Now on to the highlight so far: the men of Dawes outdoing themselves yet again. These guys have never dissappoint. It was amazing to see the progress from the first time I saw  them preform when they had to teach the crowd songs. Now, a few years later, the crowd was singing  lyrics back at them. Playing all of their  the hits in addition to a cover of Paul Simon’s “Kodachrome,” and a new song, this was a set that had me beaming from ear to ear.
