South African rock darlings (and former BestNewBands.com Artists in Residence) The Parlotones are touring the United States, and we want to help YOU meet the band and see a show for free!

This February and March, BestNewBands.com will be giving away chances to meet The Parlotones in New York City, Portland (Oregon) and Los Angeles.  In each city, fans will have the chance to win a meet & greet and photo opportunity with The Parlotones during their sound check before the show, as well as tickets to the show afterwards.

AND TODAY IS THE DAY TO TRY FOR THE NEW YORK PRIZE! Leave a comment on this post telling us why you’re the fan who most deserves/needs to meet The Parlotones at the Mercury Lounge in New York City on March 8, and you might be the one to grab a friend and head out for the night of your life! We’ll be accepting comments until Wednesday night of next week (the 2nd of March), and we’ll announce the lucky winner here next Thursday!
