I told you all about Typhoon’s epic show at the Doug Fir (see this post) in early April. Now you have a chance to see them again, and for free this time! If you’ve got a few hours to wait in line, I implore you to go see this show. Typhoon is a majorly cool indie rock orchestra that shouldn’t be missed.
Don’t know what they sound like? Here’s a video of “Kitchen Tiles,” a track from their new album A New Kind Of House. This performance is very subdued in comparison to their live show.
While I’m not sure how they are going to pack 350 people into Mississippi Studios, I am sure that this show will be epic. A tip? Have a burger at Bar Bar while you’re there. They are delicious.
