It’s exactly ONE week (and some odd hours) until I trade in Los Angeles for some Austin insanity, and since there are about an infinite number of bands worth checking out (I’ll be the tornado blowing down 6th street in 27 different directions) we here at bestnewbands.com wanted to make it easier for you to see all your faves. With myself being spawned in Southern California I’m no stranger to multitasking like it’s going out of style- so why not hit somewhere where not just one but several of the bands on your don’t miss at SXSW list are playing? Yeah- marinate on that for a sec.
We couldn’t think of a bad reason either. So we’d like to introduce you to one of our fave parties this year! popantipop and the Sea Shepherd Conservation Society are bringing you three days (because everything including parties are bigger in Texas) of stellar music to support a stellar cause!
Aside from tried and true faves we’ve covered before like Vanaprasta, Saint Motel, Bear Hands, and Twilight Sleep, you’ve got countless other artists jumping on the party train while bringing awareness about worthy efforts taken to help save our ecosystem to your immediate attention!
You can RSVP to the three-day shindig here- and come sea what’s going on at Sea Now! I’ve already drafted my thank you note to the event sponsors for an amazing whirlwind of a time.
